Here’s what’s in issue 10:
CELEBRATORY ISSUE: Yes folks! FREEZE64 will be 10 issues old (and also 1 year old)! A good time to look back and reflect on our achievements, and also share the story of why and how this little fanzine was conceived. We will be revealing secrets about the early stages of its evolution and share a few early design concepts.
NEW ANDREW BRAYBROOK INTERVIEW (PART 1): We’re pleased to announce that, thanks to the lovely Rob Hewson, we have top Commodore 64 coder Andrew Braybrook in our interview chair. As I’m sure you are aware, Andrew is the creator behind many C64 classics such as Paradroid, Gribbly’s Day Out, and Uridium. We’ll be discussing his past Commodore 64 achievements, and delving deep into the making of his games.
HACKERSOFT GUIDE – ARC VIEW SPRITES: This new Hackersoft guide delves into the VIEW SPRITES utility of the Action Replay Cartridge. There’s more to it than meets the eye! We take you through the process of replacing sprites within a game to make your own version.
‘URIDIUM’ GAME ENDING FOCUS: Seeing that we have the great Andrew Braybrook in the interview chair, we thought it would be appropriate to share the game ending to his amazing arcade shoot-em-up Uridium.
